Here, you can get to know a bit about our friendly and knowledgeable staff. We hope you'll stop by Stardust Books and Cafe´ to meet them in person!

I'm Madeleine and I have lived in Craftsbury my whole life. I have been coming to Stardust Books forever, even
when it was a library. I read a lot of books and like a wide variety of
genres. I also have a talent for judging books by their covers. This is my first real job, but I like books and
people so I think it will work out.

I’m Abbey. I have lived in three
different states, including Idaho and Alaska, and throughout my travels,
I have found that I always feel right at home snuggled up with a great
book (a thrilling adventure novel preferably). I would definitely
recommend the books The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, Bloody Jack by Louis
A. Meyer, Chasing Redbird by Sharon Creech, and (of course!) all of the Harry Potter books. Besides reading, I like acting, writing, drawing, singing, dancing, and playing the violin.

My name is Nick. I have lived in Craftsbury since I
was 2 years old, and been reading since 7 years of age. My hobbies include biking,
skiing, and reading books of course! I’m really eager to meet people and say a friendly hello now and again. I hope to get better at being a salesperson, but that
won’t happen if you don’t come on up to buy a book or a scone or just
socialize with the people around, so get to it!

My name is Sam, and I live on Craftsbury Common. I love reading and have been an AVID reader
since the first grade, thanks to the
great teachers at Craftsbury Elementary. Since then, I have
always had a book in my hands and my nose in a book.
My book tastes are very eclectic! Some of my favorites are
Journey To the River Sea by Eva Ibbotson and
Wicked: the Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory
Maguire.

Annie Volmer is the manager of Stardust Books.

Diane Morgan is our former manager, now working for Stardust in another capacity as she oversees the transition of the bookstore and cafe into a non-profit organization. Stay tuned for news about this exciting venture!
